11/17/98 An article that appeared from BBC News stated that "scientists have discovered that some women suffering from breast cancer are more likely to benefit from chemotherapy than others". "...roughly a quarter of women who were receiving chemotherapy for advanced** breast cancer experienced an improvement in their overall wellbeing."

**advanced breast cancer is with lymph node involvment and this subset receive chemotherapy in the U.K. In the U.S., a vast majority of women diagnosed with invasive breast cancer receive chemotherapy, Stage 1 or more advanced.
