Patient Perspective

Anne Caputi talks about her experiences with 714X

I used 714X for about six months starting about six months into my diagnosis. I injected every morning. There is a wonderful book about Gaston Naessens, the researcher and developer of 714X.

I can't recall the name of it at the moment.(Ann's NOTE The Persecution and Trial of Gaston Naessens by Christopher Bird,publisher-HJ Kramer, Tiburon, CA)

I can't be sure what it did for me. It definitely did not put me into remission, and my cancer seemed to grow despite my use of it. Two months after starting I connected with a woman at C.O.S.E. who answered questions about it's use etc. She was very helpful to me.

Up until that time there was nobody available to answer questions and "coach" users. My cancer is in my right breast. She explained that because of the flow of the lymph the upper body and right side of the body are the hardest to reach.

So she told me to get an ultrasonic nebulizer and add a second dose via inhalation every evening. There was no evidence that this made a difference either. I believe that it works in some situations, as many things do, but it was not adequate to the task for my cancer. The theory and the value of its other properties made and still make sense to me, but it did not knock out my cancer.

Hormone dependent cancers have there own challenges which must be addressed, and I wasn't doing anything on that front at the time. Of course, I can't say what it would or wouldn't do for you, but, for what it is worth, that was my experience of it.

Feel free to ask me more.
