It is one of the most difficult of decisions. Your surgeon is standing by stating you must start immediately.
Ann Fonfa's first surgeon told her on a Thursday that she probably had cancer in her left breast. He offered a Monday surgery date. She jumped at the chance to 'get rid' of the cancer immediately.
She never expected it to recur, in the exact same place, less than two years later. (diagnosed at Stage I orginally).
